Manual Email Campaigns

Create and send announcements, product promotions, store updates, and special offers from one configuration page.

• Custom subject: Enter the email title recipients see in their inbox.

• Email heading: Add a heading inside your message.

• HTML content: Write text or paste HTML with links, images, and formatted paragraphs.

• Recipient selection: Choose registered customers, guest checkout customers, newsletter subscribers, or multiple groups.

• Newsletter filter: Optionally include only customers and guests who subscribed to your newsletter.

• Test email: Check your message before sending the campaign.

• Send to all selected recipients: Start sending with one button.

Automatic New-Product Emails

Automatically announce newly added products without composing a separate campaign every time.

• Enable or disable automatic product emails.

• Customize the automatic subject, heading, and offer HTML.

• Insert the product name using {product_name} in the subject or heading.

• Include the product name, cover image when available, displayed price when permitted, and a product-page link.

• Send to all active registered customers, with optional guest and newsletter recipient groups.

• Create one campaign per new product, per shop.

• Avoid repeated announcements when a product is edited.

• Exclude products already in the catalog when automation is enabled.

• Wait until a new product becomes active before announcing it.

New products become eligible after 10 minutes, with at least 2 minutes since their last product update. Automatic sending requires a scheduled task on your hosting account.

Sending Controls

• Batch processing: Send emails in small batches.

• Progress display: View pending, accepted, failed, skipped, and uncertain email counts.

• Pause and resume: Pause manual sending and continue later.

• Recent campaigns: Select an existing campaign to inspect its progress or resume pending emails.

• Duplicate removal: Send one email per address within a campaign, even when recipient groups overlap.

• Private delivery: Send a separate email to each recipient without exposing other email addresses.

• Interrupted-send handling: Retain queue progress and avoid automatically retrying uncertain deliveries.

Unsubscribe Management

Every campaign email includes an unsubscribe link.

• Recipients confirm their unsubscribe request on a dedicated page.

• Unsubscribed addresses are excluded from future campaigns sent through this module for that shop.

• Unsubscribe exclusions remain effective even when the newsletter opt-in filter is disabled.

• Subscription settings in other email modules remain unchanged.

PrestaShop Integration

• Uses your shop’s existing email configuration.

• Includes HTML and plain-text email templates.

• Supports registered customer and guest checkout email records.

• Supports the standard newsletter subscription table and a legacy newsletter-table fallback.

• Keeps recipient selection and campaigns separate for each shop.

• Restricts sending controls to authorized back-office employees.

• Requires no PrestaShop core changes or overrides.

Setup and Requirements

For manual campaigns, keep the configuration page open while sending. Automatic product campaigns run through the hosting scheduled task and do not require an open browser.

Offer text is customizable, but the module does not create discounts or vouchers. Configure any advertised promotion in PrestaShop first. Prices shown in automatic emails are captured when the campaign is created; final pricing and offer eligibility are confirmed in the shop.

Compatibility target: PrestaShop 1.7.8, 8.x, and 9.x. Installation and live email delivery should be tested on your shop before production use.
