Administrative Workflow
Store administrators can review each request, inspect its original declaration, approve or reject it, add a decision note, retry failed notifications, and view any applied status mappings.
Original declarations remain unchanged after submission, and completed decisions cannot be edited through the extension.
Safe Order Processing
Approving a request records the decision but does not automatically:
Issue a payment refund
Create a credit memo
Cancel the Magento order
Restock inventory
Create an RMA
Generate a return label
These operations remain under the store administrator’s control through Magento’s standard order-management tools.
Guest and Public Requests
Guest customers can access their order using the order number, checkout email address, and a six-digit verification code sent by email. Verified access lasts for one hour and is limited to matching orders in the current store view.
A separate public form allows customers to submit a manual withdrawal declaration without accessing private order information.
Compatibility
Magento Open Source 2.4.9
PHP 8.5
Standard Blank and Luma storefront conventions
Multi-store and store-view configuration
Magento cron and transactional email integration
Custom themes, Hyvä storefronts, headless implementations, and PWA storefronts may require additional frontend integration.
Important Information
This extension manages customer requests and administrative decisions. It does not provide legal-compliance certification or determine statutory withdrawal rights. Store owners should configure request periods, policies, customer-facing text, and retention procedures according to their legal and operational requirements.
Always install and test the extension on a staging store before using it in production.
